The Story Behind Magical Insider

Hi there! I’m Shelly, a lifelong theme park enthusiast, devoted Disney and Universal fan (yes, Hogwartz is my Other happy place), proud FSU alumna / Mom, and Seminoles football fanatic.

After 30+ years as a senior IT manager, I’m thrilled to start Magical Insider as my second act, sharing all the insider knowledge and planning tips I’ve gathered from countless family adventures.

As an empty nester with three grown kids and one precious grandbaby, Brandon, I know firsthand the joy of creating unforgettable family memories – and how to make every trip stress-free. From park strategies to budget-friendly hacks, I’m here to help you maximize the magic without losing sight of the fun.

When I’m not planning our next adventure or singing a Quick comeback (I always have one ready!), you’ll find me sipping on Dunkin’ iced coffee, indulging in Mexican food, or catching up on reality TV or Gilmore Girls.
